This week was the official announcement about my plans for Daytona. I’m excited to tell you I’ll be joining Jim Jonsin and Brett Sandberg in the No Limits Aston Martin Vantage GT4 with Automatic Racing. We’ll be competing in the four-hour IMSA Michelin Pilot race at Daytona in two weeks.

For me, it’s a bit of a homecoming. I have known David Russell and the Automatic Racing group for so many years. In fact, my first full season as a professional driver was with Automatic, and I co-drove with David. As for Jim Jonsin, I’ve known him since his years racing Grand-Am (remember that name?) with his Rebel Rock team.

I have driven the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 a few times for Automatic Racing, but this is a new driver lineup this time around. I fell in love with that car right away, and I’m so excited to get back to racing with Automatic and to teaming up with Jim and Brett. I’m honored to have been chosen for this lineup. It’s been a few years since standing on the top of the podium at Daytona, and I’m ready to go for it again!

To make the team experience even better, a friend of mine will be engineering the car for us. We have worked closely together in the recent past, and I’m confident his expertise will increase both our chances of success as well as the fun factor.
