Last week was a fun and unique opportunity at Virginia International Raceway. It was the final Ingram Experience event of 2024, and this time, we had special guests Jeff Gordon and Ray Evernham there on behalf of the partnership between the Ingram Experience and Hendrick Porsche.
Jeff and Ray both brought out cars of their own to enjoy, and they as well as the other guests had plenty of open track time throughout a beautiful two days of perfect weather. Most notable among Jeff’s and Ray’s cars were Jeff’s Porsche Cup car that he’s enjoyed driving the last couple of years and Ray’s famous “Ghost,” a modified that ran Pikes Peak a few years back.
It was a treat to see Ray Evernham’s “Ghost” on track!
It was so much fun to interact with these two NASCAR legends, who were both extremely personable and gracious enough to spend time with all the other driving guests.
Overall, we had an incredible two days and plenty of open laps at VIR for all of our driving guests to enjoy. It certainly ended the 2024 Ingram season on a high note. Stay tuned for next year’s dates, which will be coming soon. You’ll be able to find them at IngramExperience.com.
