I just got to Japan and made it straight to the Tsukuba Circuit in Shimotsuma. After a delayed start due to typhoons, I made it smoothly a few hours ago, just in time for the initial shakedown run of the three Mazda Global MX-5s that were delivered to the track by Long Road Racing. We’re here for the Global MX-5 Cup Japanese Series press launch, which will include media guests as well as potential/interested racers and buyers. We’ll do more testing tomorrow before the main series launch event starts on Thursday. In the meantime, here are a few quick photos I took when we arrived!
