I’m excited to have some time at home during this extended holiday weekend. It’s been great getting to spend time with my family, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming week. I’ll be heading to Road America for the first time this season, where there is fresh pavement on tap. IndyCar has already proved the track is several seconds quicker, and I’m looking forward to coming to grips with it.
The Watkins Glen IMSA weekend also played host to the MX-5 Cup series rounds 7-8.
Last week was the IMSA event at Watkins Glen. It was a banner weekend for the JDX team! Not only did they get two race wins in Carrera Cup, but it was also 17-year-old Elias de La Torre’s best results of the season. It was a great way to cap off the first half of 2023.
