This past weekend was the SRO season finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. What a fantastic venue for capping off a race season! Indy has such an incredible history, and the exciting racing that track produces is just one of the reasons it’s a legendary venue.
It was satisfying to see the teams I work with be competitive during the event, and the weekend highlighted the growth that all the drivers have made throughout the year. I was really proud of their performance, and despite the results at Indy not being what we had hoped for, it’s still gratifying to know that we were battling for race wins as the season came to a close.
Speaking of iconic tracks, this week I’m off to an iconic event: Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta. This 10-hour classic is one of my absolute favorite endurance races, and what a beautiful time of year in the southeast to host a championship. I’ll be supporting the Mazda MX-5 Cup Series as their championship wraps up, with $250,000 going to the winner of the title and another $80,000 to the Rookie of the Year.
In addition to those two events, the Carrera Cup season is coming to a close in the next few weeks—at the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Austin, no less! It’s a special feeling to be involved in these iconic events that are wrapping up the various series for the year.
It’s always bittersweet to see a race season come to a close, but it’s also rewarding to look back and see all the growth my clients have had this year. I’m excited for them to continue making gains for next season, which will be here before we know it!
