I’m thankful I got to spend some more time at home in the last half of September, and I’m especially thankful I was home with my family during Hurricane Helene. It’s devastating to see all the destruction and flooding that occurred in places you wouldn’t even expect to be affected by a hurricane. I’m so grateful that our area survived the storm with very few issues, especially compared to some of the areas just a couple hours away in the North Carolina mountains.
This upcoming week marks the final SRO event of the season, and it’s going to be held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s been quite a year for the teams that I’ve worked with, and they’re coming off recent success at Barber Motorsports Park, where they both got their best results of the year!
We’re excited to end the season on a high note at Indy, and we’ll be carrying our positive momentum from Barber into the weekend. It will be a busy couple of weeks for me, since I’ll be at the season finales for both SRO and IMSA, and I’m really looking forward to it!
